Today finally gave us the sunshine we have been waiting for to start our garden clean up, taking care of bushes and perennial beds, cutting down grasses and pulling out some weeds...and we had our first lunch outside, oh wonderful times to come!
We started to plan a little ahead, where to take plants out and what to prune, we're thinking of having some planters next to the stairs to the front door.
Our oleanders - well kept inside during the winter - can hopefully see the sunshine again in a couple of weeks. Last year we almost lost them to late frost end of April and they looked pretty sad for the first few weeks until they finally grew back. This year they must wait until May!
