Early summer mornings
I love the sun streaming through windows which have been covered with shades, the white gold filtered sunlight promises a day after my own heart. I love the morning sun on the brilliant dew drops on leaves and the early bird song too. An open door lets in the still cool air and a fan rattles somewhere in the house.
It has rained over night and the air is still full of evaporating mist in the trees...
My old friend is awake as well!
There is nothing lovelier than an early summer morning...except perhaps...
My new summer sandals!!! I love them! A little bling to pull me out of boring and give my outfits a tiny kick....
Happy day, darlings!

Might I play with the piano forte together with you? Your sandals evokes feeling of warm summer days with sunlight twinkling through trees. Love that painting on the wall, dear. I know one can hardly see it, but my eyes are trained when it comes to art;-)
ReplyDeleteI love summer for all the sounds, the extra light and the longer days.

I too love the early morning light. And you have shared a bit of your lovliness here! I like to take my coffee out to the herb section of my garden and rub basil and Rosemary between my fingers... some of my best meal plans come out of those walks. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteEarly mornings are the best. You can take that moment to really reflect and relax before it becomes hectic. I think that's why my mom and I will get up and just share a cup of tea.
ReplyDeleteThe cardinal, the sassy new sandals, the early morning light are all joys.
ReplyDeleteI love that the ball made its way into the photo.
I am happy to report that it is one of those 'sun streaming through the window' mornings here in Edinburgh. Now if I just had a pair of your bejewelled sandals, I could truly believe Summer was here.
ReplyDeleteGreat read thaanks
