Rooms with a view

Last night I had the pleasure to be invited to Southport, CT's annual celebration of ROOMS with a VIEW!
Among the participating designers is Eddie Ross of Eddie Ross, Inc.



He had asked my friend, fellow blogger and fabulous illustrator Patricia van Essche of PVE Design to render his visions of a room, which she did magnificently. Please go and visit her beautiful blog to see an image of this and many more of her artworks.
Together they have created a delightful parlor!



Since I've met her she has become a friend and design collaborator...it is so lovely to have you near!



I had met Eddie a few month ago and his charming and lively ways drew me immediately towards him. His style and creative energy amaze me. His blog EddieRoss.com is an endless source of inspiration to me.

The Southport,CT Congregational Church provided the lovely setting and hosted a wonderful evening.

Over the last fourteen years, ROOMS with a VIEW has raised more then $800,000 for the ministry and mission of Southport Congregational Church. They in turn help many charities do their valuable work.

It was wonderful to be there last night!



Instead of Friday flowers I am offering Patricia and Eddie the last rose in my garden...
