Today our daughter graduated from Elementary School, going on to Jr/Sr High School, a first big step in her education now behind her. We are so proud of her achievements, her kind ways and her happy nature. May the next years bring her much fun and learning, experience, friendships and maturing into young adulthood!
We can't wait to be there each step of the way!
I have to admit, I saw her today and my heart was filled with joy and some sorrow, seeing her so fast growing up and slipping out of her childhood in to the years, where we parents have to learn to stay back more, watch as she starts trying on her own and let her make her mistakes and take all the life lessons more on her own.
But it is as well a time of new pleasures. As I remember growing up is fun! I certainly could not wait to be there!
So, lets enjoy the ride, the ups and downs, may she be healthy and happy in the years to come!

ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing her with us. As you know I have been experiencing a life transition as well with a daughter, and it is always bitter sweet. Treasuring and valuing them for their unique talents and beautiful hearts is at the core of being a mother.
