Ouch!

Just a quick note: Since last night I am totally immobile due to a sciatic nerve pain attack! I can not walk, going a few steps is excruciatingly painful.
Between Advil, heat and cold packs I am at loss how to rid myself of the pain.
Searching the web brought some results, but...
My doctor tells me time will heal the thing eventually, some steroids locally will also help!
So, adieu for a little while...any ideas and advise are welcome...

  1. Victoria, pain pills won't hurt, and at least get the edge off! Feel better soon!

  3. I always go deep water running when that happens, or just swimming helps too. It really loosens you up. I did that today actually as I woke up with a cramped leg. Feels o.k.now! My friends chiropractor recommends deep water running for sciatica. It is amazingly helpful. Sometimes I think we have to take responsibility and work it out of our body rather than medicate.
