Blue and white pretty

Just looked at Carolyne Roehm's glamorous 'A Passion for Blue and White' and thought to share some of my favorite pictures:

Of course there is so much more then this, but when it comes to blue and white china I have an absolute weakness!
It does not stop there although...

Just looking through my own house:

Even my powder room sports blue and white!

I just love it, I can't help it and I know I am not alone....

  1. Yes, there is something very safe, very calm and very soothing about blue and white, and that book is one of my favorites.

  5. Fantastic photos! Blue and white is so crisp and fresh, yet antique as well. Add some bursts of yellow and you have Swedish flag colors! Thought I would let you know that TODAY is the festival of lights, TODAY is saint lucia day!

  6. Must agree, blue and white is calming and soothing somehow. They do make me think of Scandinavian boat house interiors, those rustic white walls and dusty blue paint. Nice photos.
