The man behind countless soundtracks, beloved movies, like Goldfinger, Out of Africa or The English Patient, died today at the age of 77 in New York City! He collected many Oscars and countless movies simply cannot be remembered without his wonderful music and arrangements!
I will miss him, his talent was amazing and the music he wrote will be forever!

That is so sad. Even though I didn't really know him, of course I know plenty of the films he was contributing to. Did you know Bernd Eichinger died recently as well ?? He was one of the most important people in the german film industry and one of the few who had also been successful in Hollywood.
